Oh, the joys of Easter…

Other than believing firmly that God exists, that He died for us to redeem our sins and rose again, the other joys of Easter are baking Easter cookies with kids; decorating, painting eggs and finding them; giving; having a family-get-together; and making new friends.  Isn’t it wonderful?

We got the opportunity of baking cookies with my friend’s lovely kids.  As I forgot to bring with us those flowery, colorful cookie sprinklers, we thought of pounding some fruit loops grouping it by each of its colors.  Then used it to decorate over cookies frosted with cream cheese mix.  The kids had fun!

At night, our daughter enjoyed coloring the eggs all by herself, and turned out beautiful (first image).

Then on Sunday was family gathering.  Looking for eggs was a fun thing the kids enjoyed, and then there was egg-quiz (about Christ to get kids know the reason of celebrating Easter).  And there were egg-shaped chocolates and candies.  What a sweet day!
