Reminiscing Childhood in the Desert Zone

sprinklers

A tease of tropical rain:)

Which do I love, the frying heat of Arizona’s summer land, or the boiling heat of Philippine’s all-year-round tropical climate?  I love the pristine desert mountains of Arizona.  Oh my, one of the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen, but an unfriendly beauty during hot summer days.  I love the tropical lush of my native land – Philippines.  My only complain is living in the city where it is hotter and dustier.  But I miss so much the tropical rain and playing with it while I was younger.  So here I am reminiscing with it… now with our daughter who enjoys water!

There’s a pool to cool off, but that sprinkler in the yard gave us contentment – in bringing that old sweet childhood memory.
