I did not expect to be chosen to host a Khung Zhu party. But I applied anyway, thinking the fun of having a children’s party. That’s it!

Then a huge package of Khung Zhu toys arrived at home. We were totally surprised. I showed it to one of my nephews (by in-law). He said “Awesome. Can I have one?”.

“No” said I. “Wait for the rest of kids to come over and complete the party with these toys”.

Anyway, I myself could not wait to open it and see how they worked. So I broke some rules. I opened one set for him, and also for our daughter. They had fun with just one set, connecting each set they had, and play together. But they are awaiting for the bigger fun … connecting each set together with other kids and play all together.

Waiting, and waiting until everybody’s family will have time to get together. And then the big event. I don’t have to say much at all. Just take a look at the pictures below and see how it went.

To summarize it all, there is one most popular sentence they uttered for a day: “This is awesome…ahhhhh!”

What parents thought: This is a good stuff to have for children’s party. They are all having fun without running around and do the wilder things:).

And more: The toys look boyish, but every girl as well enjoyed them.

General Mills Cereal

I participated in General Mill’s MyBlogSpark and received 4 free cereal coupons.  How cool is that?

Personally, I am glad they have products that are BHT free like Honey Nut Cheerios, Lucky Charms, and Kix.  I would need to get 2 Lucky Charms because that is our toddler’s favorite.  What’s more fun?  I’d get 1 free movie ticket in getting 2 lucky charms.  Lucky!  You can get it too.

General Mills announced a commitment to further reduce sugar in cereals advertised to kids under 12 to single digit grams of sugar per serving. The company has already been reducing sugar in cereals while increasing key nutrients, such as calcium and vitamin D, and providing whole grain.

(2)    Rich in Vitamins and Minerals to power up your kids and you.  These are also essential for your child’s proper growth and development.

(4)    They taste good!  And to make it more nutritious and fun for our daughter to eat, I mix in some colorful berries (blueberries and raspberries).

She also loves to nibble them as her to-go-snack.

I was shopping at Fry’s today, and there were only 2 manned cashiers open, with 2 customers lining up both with carts full of their grocery items.  I was in a hurry, so I thought I should try their self-service cash registrar.  I followed carefully their touch screen instructions, but there were some methods (like punching of fresh produce I needed to know; using my coupon for the cereal I bought; and using my debit card when I ran out of cash.  Thankfully, their staff was always there to supervise.  He was very attentive and helpful with all my inquiries.  It made me not feel intimidated anymore with these self-service cash registrars, and I went home happy!
