This Skinfood Skincare product was introduced to me lately. Before I tell you what it’s all about, let me tell you a story about my skin.

When I got here in the US, all season long my skin would flake and crack from dryness. I took almost every lotion I could see in the grocery counters from the cheapest to the somewhat expensive – to no avail. They all worked the same to my skin – they dry it up in less than 1 hour. Worst, most of these lotions (all, I suppose) would leave my skin itchy.

Just recently too, I found out that it’s no joke how much of these toxic chemicals combined to preserve most of these products – from formaldehyde and dioxane releasing compounds to parabens, BHTs, etc. I feel helpless sometimes looking over the groceries counter where almost all personal care (babies to adults) products I could see contain these carcinogenic chemicals.

Now here comes this product called Skinfood Skincare. Is this worth a try? Desperate enough, I tried and grabbed it. Here’s what I like most. I read the ingredients – perfect; I tried the product – wonderful!

I got the following products tested:

Rose Petal Whipped Cream. This is a great moisturizing product for all skin types (normal to dry skin), which is also my favorite. My facial skin is oily (worst in humid, tropical areas), but applying this does not make it oily at all, noting that it contains oil. Not only that. My skin felt soft like baby’s after application. And it smells so good and natural. If you have a dry skin, I highly recommend this product. It’s also used for skin treatment as it contains anti-aging formula. It’s perfect!

Let me show you how my skin glows (in the picture below) using this product.

Skinfood and Spritz Combination is a great skin treatment with anti-aging benefits. It is a powerhouse of nutrients and anti-oxidants. I love this product too. It has the same effect on my skin as the Rose Petal Whipped Cream. That smell of rose in oil is awesome and relaxing. Used for all skin types. I love using this at bedtime. Its smell is also aromatherapeutic.

Rainflower Jojoba Skintonic. This is such an unbelievable product on my oily skin. The main ingredient of this product is Jojoba oil, which when applied to skin mimics your body’s natural oil making it an effective antiseptic and control that oily shine. I applied this product only once in each morning, and its effectivity of controlling/reducing the oil feel in my skin is amazing. The smell is also so refreshing. I even used this as a body massage, and it felt like you’ve been from a spa. This product has multiples of usage – as a make-up cleanser; body moisturizer; scalp treatment; and also great for shaving.
