I was shopping at Fry’s today, and there were only 2 manned cashiers open, with 2 customers lining up both with carts full of their grocery items.  I was in a hurry, so I thought I should try their self-service cash registrar.  I followed carefully their touch screen instructions, but there were some methods (like punching of fresh produce I needed to know; using my coupon for the cereal I bought; and using my debit card when I ran out of cash.  Thankfully, their staff was always there to supervise.  He was very attentive and helpful with all my inquiries.  It made me not feel intimidated anymore with these self-service cash registrars, and I went home happy!
